The background check process for a job opportunity often includes a criminal background check, verification checks to ensure the accuracy of resume information, and reference checks. Many employers also run drug tests on new employees, whether to make sure that new hires are sober enough to take on potentially dangerous work—such as operating heavy machinery—or to maintain a drug-free workplace policy.
IMMIGRATION/Employment/School titers test
Immigration
Under the Department of State, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires a physical exam from green card applicants. The Refugee Act of 1980 conferred certain responsibilities to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ). The CDC and DGMQ monitor the health status of refugees. To prevent the transmission of highly communicable diseases, these organizations evaluate the health of potential immigrants. This includes a review of medical screenings and immunization records.
As a mobile specimen collection provider we can assist in cutting down the processing time of your admissibility into to the United States by collecting the appropriate lab work such as tuberculosis, gonorrhea, and syphilis in your home or office.
Employment/School
Your job or school requests your titer level(s) for certain diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, varicella, measles, mumps, rubella, to screen for antibodies to determine your immune status to certain illnesses and bacteria. These tests are often required for school, travel, and certain professions. We will have a phlebotomist come to you and collect those specimens to be sent to our partner laboratory where you will receive your results within 24-48 hours. If you need to schedule a mobile draw please call/email for price and scheduling information.
